The TOEFL Test
The TOEFL stands for Test Of English as a Foreign Language. It is a test which is accepted by over 10,000 universities spanning over 150 countries. You can take the traditional TOEFL iBT at an exam center or at home registering for the TOEFL iBT Home Edition.
It measures your English skills in READING, LISTENING, SPEAKING and WRITING. For each section, the score you can achieve is 0-30 and thus the highest TOEFL score is 120. The test takes less than 2 hours to complete but you must allow for 2,5 hours with an extra 30-minute check in procedure. The test is taken completely on a computer, including the speaking and the writing parts.
There are available dates almost every week. We recommend booking at least 3 weeks in advance as there is a late fee for last moment bookings.
The test on July 26th 2023 was updated to a shorter format. Our course covers all the new changes made to the new format of the TOEFL iBT exam.

Our TOEFL Course
We start with a brief meeting (face-to-face or online) to discuss with you what your requirements are and when your deadline is.
Then, we give you a diagnostic test to determine your level. Our TOEFL course typically lasts 6-8 weeks for students whose English level is at least C1.
If your level is lower than C1, we suggest a 4-week crash course on English grammar, vocabulary and speaking in order to raise your level before starting the TOEFL.
We have two sessions per week of 1.5 hours each. The exact time of completion depends on your level and score goal.
We offer all the material in digital form. Our lessons are designed to make you feel comfortable with all the parts of the test as we go through each type of questions in the reading and listening and also cover a very large range of topics in the speaking and writing. As the speaking is recorded on test day, we listen to your speaking recordings and digitally comment on them so you can always go back and see your mistakes (not just hear them) again in order to improve.
